Spring is now here, although we may not all be feeling it with with the weather we’ve had so far!  With the days getting longer, our senses get tingling with the thoughts of cleaning out the old and getting ready for the new.  Why not take this notion and apply it to your skin, could a chemical peel treatment work for you?

Winter can take it’s toll on our skin, especially with it exposed to all the elements.  Damaged, dry and older looking skin are often terms our patients talk about about seeing and feeling.  If you feel you want to take action and gain healthier, lighter, brighter looking skin in Spring then our chemical peel treatments could provide the solution for you.

A chemical peel involves the application of a solution that is applied in clinic resulting in a deep exfoliation.  Skin will brighten, tighten and have an improved appearance.  At Surrey Hills Skin Clinic we offer both a light or medium depth peel, Obagi Blue Peel RADIANCE® and Perfect Peel®.  Both treat different indications and can be sold as part of a course or as a one off treatment.

The recovery time that comes with chemical peel treatment will depend on the strength of treatment that you undergo and the condition of your skin. Patients may experience some slight discomfort or irritation of skin following treatment as the healing process begins. It is important to not interfere with the skin at this point to avoid infections.

Here at Surrey Hills Skin Clinic we offer treatment to patients in a number of different locations to suit including Ashtead and Godalming.  If you would like more information on chemical peel treatment then book your consultation with Surrey Hills Skin Clinic today.  We offer an initial free skin consultation for all new clients lasting around 30 minutes, this informal and non-invasive consultation will allow us to recommend the most appropriate course of treatment for you.  During the initial consultation your Surrey Hills Skin Clinic clinician will record information on your skin history, address the common concerns you may be experiencing, these could include dryness, ageing or reduction of skin damage and take you through the appropriate treatments for you.
