What to expect
At your appointment, we will first determine the suitability of this treatment. This will be done through examination, relevant medical history taking, and consent. We use a thermolysis current and a very fine needle to either cauterise or lift away the superficial epidermis, depending on what type of blemish is being treated.
Post treatment advice
. Avoid washing the area for 72 hours
. Gentle care needed so no swimming, sauna, or steam room for 7 days after
. To avoid unwanted pigmentation no sunbathing or prolonged periods in the sun without high-factor SPF for 2
weeks.
. Little scabs may appear which must not be picked or scratched.
