Initial treatment is usually divided into 2, 4 to 6 weeks apart. After that maintenance treatment consists of 1 treatment 3 monthly or 2 treatments required every 6 months.
What to expect
A detailed consultation allows us to plan the exact treatment that is right for you. We allow plenty of time to discuss treatment options and for you to ask as many questions as you like. We then clean the area that will be injected with skin disinfectant. Using a facial pencil injection points are mapped onto the face, usually 5 injection points per side are recorded. For our records we will then take confidential pictures before proceeding with the treatment.
Post treatment advice
- Avoid touching the treated area for 6 hours following treatment
- Avoid saunas and sun beds the day of the procedure
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours
- Do not apply make up on the day of the procedure
- Do not massage unless advised by your clinician
- A cool pack may be gently applied to the treatment area
