    About the treatment

    Radio Frequency with micro-needling (RFMN) addresses concerns for a variety of patients where a non-surgical/ minimally invasive treatment is preferred. Common indications include skin laxity, acne scars, fine lines, and wrinkles. Robust medical studies have shown that RFMN results in the remodeling of collagen and elastin. The technology uses microneedles to penetrate the dermis at varying depths leading to local inflammation that stimulates wound healing through the release of growth factors, thus inducing collagen production. The latest evidence is robust and demonstrates collagen improvement between 20%- 60%
    Results will continue to be seen up to 6 months after treatment as the collagen structures continue to reorganise.  This treatment boasts extraordinary results for anti-aging, smoothing, skin laxity, skin rejuvenation, fine lines, and wrinkles whilst also reducing scarring and stretch marks.

    What to expect

    During treatment, the radio-frequency energy is delivered through the gold-platted, insulated needles allowing precise delivery to the dermis.  There is a slight warmth and pressure with manageable momentary discomfort during the application. Your skin will be slightly pink after treatments and may feel similar to when you’ve been in the sun.

    Collagen production continues for over 12 weeks so results appear over the duration of the course. We recommend one treatment is undertaken every 4 to 6 weeks and as a minimum for three sessions. Following this, a maintenance session can be performed every 12 weeks for maximum benefit.

    Post treatment advice

    . Avoid touching and applying makeup for 48 hours.

    . Avoid direct sunlight and wear an SPF 50 at all times including the winter.

    . 5-7 days following treatment you may experience dryness, uneven texture, and redness. We recommend our own aftercare kit for this duration only.

    . Avoid active skin treatments and topicals such as retinol, tretinoin, and acids for 2 weeks following treatment.

    . After this, you can resume your normal skincare routine.
